Istanbul Hagia Sophia
15th-century lower chapel at Buda Castle. The upper chapel was destroyed in the 1686 siege of Budapest by the Habsburgs, and this lower chapel filled in with rubbish from the Baroque palace by 1715. It was only unearthed by archaeologists in 1950.

someone should give me the skinny on kemetism
Kemetism is a form of pagan revival religion focusing on the traditional ancient Eqyptian belief system and pantheons. There are a number of groups active who practice to varying degrees of Orthodoxy (such as is possible, ancient Egyptian beliefs changed rapidly over the various dynasties and periods), but unlike Asatru or Hellenism, which were revived by their original ethnic adherents, I’ve never heard of Kemetism being practiced by anyone other than white-as-white-bread European Caucasians.
kemetduasekhem, idanceitarotiart, chasingafterjackals. Bam you got some PoC kemetics. Two of which are Black. There’s far more than them, though. There’s actually quite a number of PoC kemetics running around, they may just not be very open about it on the internet.
But hey, thanks for totally erasing PoC kemetics, yo!
Oh no, believe me, I was expressing my frustration with white people appropriating other people’s historical cultures to the point that our prominence eclipsed everyone else. Looking back I can definitely agree that my response could have been worded better. My apologies!
